“Remember that at any given moment there are a thousand things you can love.”
—David Levithan, The Realm of Possibility (via bookmania)
“I admire addicts. In a world where everybody is waiting for some blind, random disaster or some sudden disease, the addict has the comfort of knowing what will most likely wait for him down the road. He’s taken some control over his ultimate fate, and his addiction keeps the cause of his death from being a total surprise.”
—Chuck Palahniuk (via venebelle)

Wow I read some of the stuff that people post about how they feel about Whitney Houston’s death, the truth is that Whitney never DECIDED to become dependant on drugs….She didn’t wake up one day and say, hmmmm….God thank you for this amazing voice and for all of these blessings I’m going to fuck it…
I also really used to like Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent and Fabolous and Nas and every rap or hip-hop song that was ever on the radio from grade 6 to 8.
Some things, whether it’s books or people or music or movies may disappoint you, but nothing can ever replace the moment they don’t — as in the single moment you fall in love with them, because that moment will always feel like the best thing in the world.
